The Annual General Meeting of the Friends of Battersea Park will be held on

Tuesday 13th October 6.30pm for 7pm – 8.30pm

1. Welcome: Chairman’s opening remarks and apologies for absence

2. Approval of the minutes of the AGM held on Tuesday 14th October 2025*

3. Trustees’ Report for 2025/26 (see summer issue of Review) given by the Chairman*

4. Presentation of the Financial Statement for 2025/26 given by the Treasurer*

5. Approval of Trustees Report and Financial Statement

6. Election of Arabella Slinger as Independent Financial Examiner for 2025/26 and 2026/27 accounts

7. Election of Juliet Lyon-Smith as Secretary for a further three year term.

8. Retirement of trustees Tim Donovan and Briony Newman and election of new trustees John Bonomo and Sarah-Jane Heany

9. Any other Business

OPEN FORUM

The Open Forum follows the formal meeting. It’s an opportunity to discuss any matters relating to Battersea Park with the Committee, Valerie Selby Head of Parks at Enable, Leisure and Culture who manage Battersea Park on behalf of Wandsworth Council, Inspector Steve Biggs of the Parks Police Service and a representative from Krinkels (horticulture and ground maintenance contractor).
