The BBQ will take place at the Bowling Green in the centre of the park with free children’s entertainment provided by Sharky and George. This year the event is kindly supported by Savills, Battersea Park.

Herbs & Spices and their uses in the Cookery and Medical worlds
SPEAKER: Alex Laird, BSc FCPP, is a medical herbalist/phytotherapist, and founder director of Living Medicine. She is the author of Root to Stem: a seasonal guide to natural remedies and recipes for everyday life, runs the UK’s first herbal teaching clinic in dermatology at Whipps Cross Hospital and practised at Breast Cancer Haven, London. She is Co-Vice President of the College of Practitioners of Phytotherapy. She has also worked as an aromatherapist with clinics at Chelsea & Westminster Hospital, and HIV and drug centres.
Greg Packman will lead another highly informative Walk on Interesting and Unusual Trees in Battersea Park on Saturday 5 April from 10.30 – 12.30. Meet just inside Rosery Gate. Tickets £10 from friendsofbatterseapark.org/events/ For further information phone 07572 008329.
